GPS Recommendations

I will probably be picking up a GPS in the next couple of weeks.  Any recommendations?

What kind? Handheld? Navigation?

An in-car unit.

I would definitely buy a portable, so you can move it from car to car as needed. The main thing I wanted was text to speech that used street names ("In 200 feet turn right onto Oak Street"). I have a Garmin Nuvi 660 and love it.

I guess I'm off on the terminology. I want a unit to use inside of any car, but one that I can easily move from car to car.

we just got a Garmin Nuvi 750, probably about the same as Foldem. Speaks street names and works quite well.

I second this. I have a Garmin Nuvi, though I can't remember which model number. The only thing I wish I did have was the ability to enter coordinates for geocaching (something probably available for a different model), but other than that it works quite well.
