I will be in Toronto for Christmas. I have not booked flights yet but I expect to fly into TO. I am not sure about trips to the US but I should at least go to my apartment. I wonder if the power is still hooked up. NiMo screwed up and stopped billing me. I am thinking of a couple day road trip as it would be great to see you and another girl in NYC as well as a friend in Boston. I will just have to wait and see. I don't know when I will escape Italy. Oh and for tax puposes I have to stay out of the US, although when I saw you before I had only about a day of grace. Now I have 20 days to spare so I can afford a couple more in the US.

hmm, I might take you up on your offer.

See IRS publication 54 and form 2555. Essentially if you spend at least 330/365 days in another country you can deduct up to $80,000 and not pay federal (and probably not state) income tax. Most people would probably not believe how wonderful my refund was earlier this year.
