it was a pretty sad existence but he figured he still had plenty of time to figure all of that out. Once they figured out this whole war restoration there would be plenty of jobs opening up.
When the knock came to the door, Alex pulled himself off the sofa and placed his beer back down on the coffee table.
"Oh. Roger-" he said, surprised to actually see him in the neighborhood. "Do you eh- need something?"
Well, he couldn't possibly be here for Lavender.

"Uh, no?" Roger's lips twisted a little and he bounced slightly on his toes. "Figured I hadn't seen you in a while. You were home. I'm at Mum's. Do I need a reason?"

It didn't bother him quite so much if it didn't completely screw over his little sister.
"Nope. Guess not-" he said, stepping aside to let Roger inside.
"I just want expecting you."

Slipping into the house, Roger shrugged and shoved his hands into his pockets. "I should have owled or something? I mean... " He jerked a hand over his shoulder toward the door that was closing behind him. "I can go if you want me to?"
