Some of you know that I did NOT have a good initial experience with engaging the medical profession on the topic of my first pregnancy.  My primary phyician's office wouldn't see me because they "don't see pregnant women."  The OB office they told me to call wouldn't see me for 2 months because "it's just not worth the effort before 12 weeks."
