He's a beautiful red-headed boy, Jenna. I know all about those, having had one myself.

As for the "little baby, long name," we know all about that, too. Have I ever told you our boys' full names? Earl Franklin Hodges Martin is our redhead. His little brother's is even longer: Alexander Jesse Carrell Martin. Both are family names, and I have to tell you that when they were born, I never in a million years would have imagined using all four of those names as often as I do.

I've said for several years now that the have four names so they'll always know EXACTLY how much trouble they're in when I call them out. ;)

Well, going by this tradition, if we ever had another one, they'd have to have 5 names, one from HRH and me, one to honor some family member, and one from each kid. We're not having any more, though :-P

Awww :) I love the name (not that I'm biased towards redheads or anything!) and I completely get a kick out of Walker actually making it into the name. Rock on, Ivy! :) They are both cute as can be, and I'm glad they love each other! :D Too cute :)

We'll see if he maintains his strawberry-ness. If so, we'll send him to you for proper redhead training ;-)

Excellent. We'll start with the secret handshake before we move on to the more difficult soul-stealing. But I sure hope he is :) And they said redheads would be extinct by 2020!

Wonderful. I love knowing the origin of names!

Well, I didn't want to name either of them the same thing as everyone else. I've recently read that wanting a unique kid name makes me a narcissist, but I think I'm okay with that :-)
