I've said before that it seems like places that are beautiful during the day are marked by a complete lack of presence at night, and that places that are beautiful at night tend to be marked by a distinct lack of beauty during the day.  New York isn't like that.  During the day, what you can see is amazing architecture.  As the sun starts to wane
