I don't know if i mentioned this already, but I was in a major fight with the housing department at UK. Honors students are supposed to have first choice of either Patterson Hall or Boyd Hall, and in February I requested Patterson, but left my second choice as Boyd. Many years ago, as a UK freshman I lived in Kirwan II. I was originally assigned to Holmes. At the last minute the person assigned to Room 222 of Kirwan II cancelled his registration. I got moved over to K2.

I ended up running for Dorm president. While I was running for president, I pledged to a fraternity and my big brother in the fraternity told me it was destined that I would be elected. He was right.

He told me the last two presidents of K2 lived in Room 222. He was one of them, having been elected two years earlier. It's funny you post this now, because I saw the other one over the weekend down at Fancy Farm. We rekindled the story about first Mark, then him (Bobby), and finally me. Three presidents in a row living in Room 222. And all because someone else cancelled. I didn't have to make any calls like you did. Congrats.

And oh yeah, I was originally going to say that I still don't know who my roommate is. I've got a 2-person apartment in Greg Page, and I still don't know who I'm sharing it with. If I don't get a letter tomorrow, I'm calling Housing. Actually I already called and they said I should have found out by yesterday. So yeah.
