Icon repersents how I viewed this ep- NOT a fan of spiders. *laughs at understatement*
Oh why? WHY?! This was hard to get through. I do not need mutant spiders. I don't even like to typethe s word! Do I care about toxic waste that created them? No, I do not. The Doctor can have all the sympathy that she needs. It ain't in me.
The 45* stand in was so not needed. Urgh. I get enough of that shit over here. It does not need to invade my show, thanks. Sick of this show acting like all Americans are gun toting pyschos. Really getting old. ( I understand my country well. And our gun problem is tragic and infruating. Seriously though, enough. )
Yaz's mom was nice but the whole how'd you meet?! thing has been done. Don't like her bratty sister. Father was fine. I can totally see why Yaz wants more. Go explore! It willchange you! . Of course her family won't understand the "sudden change".
Graham stole the show for me. His grief and facing an empty apartment...the Doctor knows more grief than anyone. Maybe they can help each other. She didn't seem keen on having them on board. Yet wasn't ready to let go at first. She could be reeling from Bill/Nardole/Clara/Missy and the Master. I like that she stressed that she cannot guaruntee to keep them safe. Usually it's all fun and exciting! but Thirteen is more cautious and given everything, that feels right.
Ryan. Graham is your proper family. Let him in. Even a little.
No more bugs, ok show? NO MORE.
