I know! So exciting. Although my love for California is already fading a bit, what with Prop 8 looking to pass and everything. Seriously, California? First Schwarzenegger and now this? Sometimes they just don't think. But - back to the yay - how awesome is it that this actually worked, that this actually happened, and that we got to be a part of it?

Oh, and dude, I am so with you on Michelle Obama's dress. My first thoughts when I watched them walk up the stage for him to give his acceptance speech were all of the "yay! so exciting! go Obama!" variety, and my next thoughts were - "dude, that dress is AWFUL, why would anyone do that to such a smart and pretty lady?" I felt kind of ridiculous, so it makes me feel better that I wasn't the only one.

Yeah, I think we all had the same thoughts. Yay Obama. Boo Proposition 8. Oh man, that dress.

I imagine it's the sort of thing that looks cute up close, but in long shots where the red bleeds out on camera, and that weird wrap around the middle... sigh.

I hate that I don't get Comedy Central anymore, but I had that same moment with Reverend Jackson.
