I totally Geeked out yesterday watching Smallville

So I started catching up on all my tv shows this weekend and finally started catching up on Smallville.  When I saw the episode title, "Legion", my first thought was a demonic bible reference, maybe some sort of multitude phantom thing (which I think they already had an episode related to last season), instead I was shocked to see 3 people from the

Even though I never got into it when I was living there in Las Vegas, I got bored and download all the seasons and got into it. Season 8 seemed to slow down and lose some of the flavor of the other seasons but now I'm going to have to get the latest episode and catch back up.

Smallville I think definitely appeals to the people who liked Superman when it was great (IMO the 70s and mid 80s).

Season 8 is getting bogged down in the over story arc. its good for the longtime fans maybe, but they really run the risk of losing any casual fans. I do kinda miss the "Monster of the week" kinda shows, there aren't as many mysteries anymore in the show, and its been happening for a long time.

Hopefully after the last 2 episodes, they've closed up most of the story points so they can move forward without leaving people wondering "what happened to lana, what happend to lex, blah blah" its kinda a blank slate

I'm glad to hear that. After 7 seasons I was afraid it was starting to wind down.
