Reminds me of a friend's story about a friend of his who started taking photos at hockey games, and now does it professionally. I wouldn't be surprised if you could sell a few of those shots.
Nice camera BTW. From the EXIF data it looks like you're using the 18-55 lens? It's actually probably just about ideal for this sort of thing, since you've always got a ton of light and don't usually need a lot of zoom.

Relatedly, I found one of my photos on Wikipedia this morning. This is not a problem - I view the photos on Flickr as Gifts to the Universe. With few exceptions, they're sized down to about 1200 x 800 - enough for a reasonable 4 x 6, but it's not going to scale up to a poster or professional use off the computer.
