I've been neglecting LJ lately, due to Facebook addiction. You can be much more current on what's happening with me over there. Like, I'm planning to scan and upload a bunch of ancient pictures I've discovered recently, and you may want to check them out - but I'm doing it on the Facebook site, because one site is enough, thanks! -

Yep, it's Christmas!
My sister arrived at 4 am on Christmas Eve with her two almost grown kids. My not-so-grown kids allowed them to sleep until about noon. We spent Christmas Eve finishing up wrapping gifts, getting last minute items (you know what I mean), and just hanging out. Well, that's interesting
Several people have replied to yesterday's posting about my frustration with #1Son not doing his homework.
The replies mostly boil down to: I, as a parent, am pretty much powerless. He has to figure it out on his own, a la Dorothy and the way home.
Therefore, I'm planning on a few of the practical actions.

I don't know how, but a command to delete certain files from my inbox deleted *all* of the files from my inbox.
If you sent me email in the past 48 hours, and I didn't reply to it, it's gone; you should send it again.
I am feeling particularly brain damaged this morning. Where is the DeFrag option for my brain? :-)
