Maybe I'm crazy or ill-informed, but what good is the U.S.'s continued support of Israel doing? Is the existence of the state of Israel really going to help spread democracy and other ideals of ours to cultures that have never known the like and have a inherent hatred of Jews? Are we going to be cursed by God if we don't support the Jews of today who are presumed to be God's chosen people? If the Jews have the right to establish a country on land on which some of their ancestors used to live, do many American citizens have the right to establish and immigrate to a country in the Ulster province of Ireland where their ancestors known as the Scots-Irish used to live?
