I'm right between our Gatlinburg and Hilton Head trips, and now I have ANOTHER trip to look forward to. Next weekend I'm heading to Wisconsin with Kristel. She's going to visit her parents, and I'm going to visit KATIE! and anyone else who can find their way there. (Hopefully Shelly.) Summer is going way too fast. I'm in my 4th week of summer already. What have I accomplished so far? Well, I don't dread the thought of going in to school anymore. That's saying a lot. I'm bummed. I got an email from my advisor saying that as he was checking through my graduation stuff, he noticed that one of my professors never entered a grade for a class I took. I'm a glutton for punishment. I took them on another field trip. It was cool, though. The Newport Aquarium - and they had a few new things since I went last year with Jon. They have an exhibit where you can pet sharks (not huge ones) and they have the only shark ray pair in the western hemisphere. Dan drove for me. My fourth grade boys really ( Read more... )

We had a field trip today, and it was excellent. It was the Titanic exhibit at the Cincinnati Museum Center, a traveling exhibit that's just here through May 6. They had tons of artifacts from the ship, as well as rooms designed like the rooms on the Titanic. The kids had a list of questions to find answers for, and we each got a handheld ( Read more... )
