I am as well as can be expected.

As for memories, I have remembered being set the task of finding a piece of information in a prisoner's mind when I was 10 - I am still unsure where my father procured the human. He was not cooperative in the slightest and I was forced to peel back the layers of his psyche like a particularly flaky pastry.

Also, though I discovered an exchange of communications in which Christopher most logically denies me a kitten, I find I am still in want of one.

Is your state of well-being adequate?

Mid-teens is far too late to learn the proper balance. Would you handicap your child's learning?

As for the matter of survival... I do not know, Tina. I am uncertain that I would desire to survive it. I have been much alone. I do not care for it.

You wouldn't have to be alone.

There was none other who would have me on their ship; would I take a subordinate position under those who would enslave me?

I think not.

To retain the Enterprise, as Christopher desires for me, will require great vigilance of the sort that precludes intimate association. Particularly as there have been none other that I would desire in that capacity.

I have meditated much upon it. The choosing of mates is illogical, however. Particularly for Vulcans.

You could always come stay with me and the hypothetical kid. Or make other friends. You don't necessarily need a mate in order not to be alone.

In point of fact, I dorequire a mate. The realities of Vulcan biology dictate that I must mate or die.

I guess you're doomed, then.

It was a joke, honey. I'm sorry. I don't really think you're doomed, and even if I did, I'd try to fight it.

Spock. It's been well over five minutes. I can only conclude that you are brushing your teeth for the third time in a row, are in mortal danger, or are ignoring me.

I am sorry. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings or upset you.

It would be illogical to be upset.

I apologize for saying something that might have upset someone less logical than yourself, in that case.

I have a break coming up. Do you want me to come say hi?

That will not be necessary. I shall now occupy myself in a different fashion.

...Nice, Spock.

See you in ten.
