After her
painful conversation with Spock, Tina went back to her quarters and spent some time lying down in bed with the lights dimmed, fighting a headache. She was getting them a lot, lately, and the crying and being all emotional hadn't helped. By the time she felt better, she was nearly late already for her evening shift in sickbay, and composing a message had to wait.
But that night, after a late dinner with some of the nursing staff, Tina returned to her room with new determination.
Private to Captain Christopher Pike (
iron-command):
I think we need to talk. I suspect there are few things you'd prefer to do less, but it's important. I'm worried about Spock, and I bet you are, too.
Can we meet somewhere, please? I'm in my quarters now and will be available for several hours. I could also meet you somewhere else, if you'd prefer. Let me know.
