You know, I hadn't even considered that the way I structured that it could be read as some kind of rumination on the potentially octopus-like nature of Vulcan penises. But yeah, they're not tentacled. At least, the one I've seen isn't.

I'm partial to "one-eyed trouser snakes" myself, but "schlongs" does have a certain ring to it, as well as the convenience of brevity.
