Dear LJ - an announcement
I'm starting to show, so it's about time I made this public. LiveJournal seemed like the most expedient platform. I hope you all won't be offended that I didn't tell each of you in person, but at least this way I won't forget anyone.
I'm pregnant. I'm keeping her. It's Jim's. Not our Captain Kirk - the one from the universe that's ideologically like ours, who's older and looks different. We're not getting married or anything, but he hasn't left me in the lurch, either. He's been very supportive.
Right now, my plan is to take a reassignment to a starbase or planetary base at the start of my third trimester.
