Stephen second guessed his purchase. He'd been walking through Hogsmeade after work, and he had ended up standing in front of a flower cart. He'd thought of Cho, but now standing in front of her door, he wasn't sure what to do--should he leave them? Should he throw them away? He felt silly. Awkward even. Were flowers too cliche? What would his brothers think of him buying flowers? He cringed.
He hadn't actually received a rely to the owl he'd sent Cho. He didn't want to over think it. She was, after all, extremely busy at work and had said as much the last time they talked. His mind drifted toward negativity, but he shook his head. Negative thinking was pointless anyway. It simply made one bitter.
Now it was too late to change his mind. He didn't want to be wasteful. He sat the flowers in front of her door and scribbled a note on a torn sheet of parchment.
