With three distinct loud pops, Ron, Harry, and Hermione Apparated on the top of the little hill overlooking the Burrow. Ron sighed happily. Home. He'd been trying to pop his head in at least once every few days, for a cup of tea, to give his mother a hug or Ginny a noogie.
"Ohhhhh," he moaned as they made their way down the footpath between the broomshed and house. "It already smells good even!" The lure of the visit had been the promise of Molly's home cooked food. Ron had no idea how or why his mother was such a good cook, but it seemed like the little house was always bursting with hungry people. He'd have to learn how to do this one day, draw friends like flies to honey with a kitchen and some ingredients.
Ron's stomach rumbled as they stepped inside the door "Oi!" he called to the house in general "We're home!"
