Ron made his way out of the Great Hall with the little knot of students, some clutching pamphlets and papers. He had picked up an application for the NEWT preparatory courses and two leaflets, one for Ministry careers and another specifically for Aurors. It didn't hurt to look them over, at least, even if he didn't want to let his hopes up.
"They're still in the Hufflepuff dorms yet, I think," he said, heading towards the little door that led off to the basements and kitchens. "Do you think McGonagall would let us kip one night in the old dorms? I mean, for old time's sake, when it's structurally sound and set right again?" Ron asked, looking hopefully at Harry. "Was it weird, to be in it when it was ruined?" He hadn't gone with Harry the day they'd gotten back from Australia, he'd still felt a little off from the Portkeys and time difference, not to mention the lingering feeling of imaginary spiders on his skin that was only starting to dissipate. He'd spent the day in his room and the sitting room, flipping through textbooks and a few he'd found in the library, looking for anything about a reversible memory charm.
Stopping in front of the portrait of the pear that was the entrance to the Hogwarts kitchens, Ron looked at the other two. "Anyone know where the Hufflepuff dormitories are?" he grinned.
