RP: Ron Make Big Boom

Ron's eyes were wide behind his safety goggles. That hadn't gone quite how he'd expected, and he was thankful for the dragon-hide gloves and apron he'd donned before mixing the Exploding Fluid. Gingerly, he reached his fingers up to his face. Yes, his eyebrows were gone again, and as he dropped his hand he saw that the hair on his wand arm was singed back as well. Luckily, his wand had been stowed safely in his back pocket as he added powdered Erumpent horn, when he'd accidentally bumped the cauldron with his elbow as he reached for the large wooden stirring spoon.
"Blimey," he whispered, looking down at the once bright red potion that had turned to a drab grey sludge. Well, at least it had done what it was meant to do, even if he hadn't been able to make it solidify first. With a sigh, Ron hefted the cauldron over to the big farm sink and began to ladle the contents in, spelling water as he went to thin the solution.
