The party had been brilliant. Ginny was entirely pleased with how things turned out and it took much less time than she'd anticipated to get everything cleaned up. A lot of their friends volunteered to help.
Neville seemed thrilled with all of his gifts and even moreso with the party itself and that made her feel even better. She'd been so worried that he wouldn't like it. Neville never did like being at the center of attention.
Once the last of the decorations were cleaned up and the last of the food packed away, they said their goodbyes and walked the short distance to the gates. Neville apparated them to the Burrow grounds and Ginny grinned at him once she had her balance. "Did you have fun, birthday boy?" she asked, squeezing his hand.
