RP: In the Library

Today, some people received acceptance letters for their internships. Padma did not, and it was beginning to worry her. She knew that she was most likely overreacting; from what she'd overheard, it seemed as though those who had received owls had applied for Ministry internships, which she had not, so it was probable that the Prophet simply hadn't finished reviewing applications. Nonetheless, she was growing anxious. To force herself to think of something else, Padma decided to more fully flesh out the Ancient Runes outline she'd done for revision group. If she needed a distraction, she might as well be productive at the same time. After collecting her outline, notes, and supplies, she headed to the library.
Ancient Runes was one of Padma's favorite subjects, and she was quite familiar with that section of the library, so she was able to quickly locate the texts she wanted and levitate them from the shelves before looking for a place to settle in and get started. As she made her way through the library, she recognized Hermione Granger working at one of the tables she passed. Padma hesitated a moment before turning around and approaching the table. It had been nearly two weeks since the revision group meeting, when Padma had last spoken to Hermione. She hoped that the other witch wasn't upset with the entire group over how things had turned out then.
"Hello Hermione," she said quietly, as she reached the table. "Do you mind if I join you?"
