Summary: Ginny pays Neville a visit in his new house after a trying day.

Walking didn't seem to help as much as it used to. Still, it was better than standing still. They'd spent the afternoon at Hogwarts. Much too long to suit her, in any event. She felt ill being up in that hallway, watching George go through moving the swamp, being surrounded by reminders.
And most of all she hated that this was something that they were doing at all. Fred should be here. There shouldn't have to be any memorials for him.
She managed not to cry at all and she stuck as close to George as she could until he had to go help actually move it. He did good, he did really really good and she was very proud of him. After, he kept her company a bit and they walked for a while, through Hogsmeade, not talking much, not needing to. It was just nice to have him to herself and to just... walk.
He dropped her off at Number 14 Hornbeam Court, taking her as far as the foot of the steps and kissing her goodbye. She hugged him for a long time before letting him go and he left, only going a few houses away before turning to make sure she got inside. She raised a hand to him and then turned to walk the rest of the way up the steps, hoping that Neville was up for a visit.
