RP: A quiet birthday

Summary: Friends spend a quiet evening celebrating Ginny's birthday.

Luna hadn't been sure at first if not having a party was a good idea, but considering recent events, there weren't many people that would probably feel like partying. Still, Ginny deserved a good time. Luna hadn't seen her friend all day, so she ate an early dinner and headed out to the lake where they'd swim. She decided on a nice clearing a few meters away from the water to begin setting up the campfire so that it'd be ready when Ginny was done with her birthday dinner with her family.
Luna hummed as she set rocks in a circle and set the food- marshmellows, mostly, but some fixings for hot chocolate as well- on a small blanket not far. Ginny's wrapped present stood brightly behind the food.
Several minutes later, Luna stood and smoothed down her sundress, admiring her handiwork. It was cozy and pleasant, and reminded her of the swims her family used to take. She hoped Ginny would like it. She had invited Dean to come early to help set up, but it turned out she hadn't needed much help. She stretched out on a separate blanket and enjoyed the sunset for a few minutes before she picked up a book, waiting for Dean to arrive. It'd still be a while before Neville and Ginny showed up, most likely.
