Dear Neville -
Well, I'm here. I promised I'd owl to let you know how it was going, and I've been waiting to have something more eventful to tell you. But maybe it's good that there's not been anything eventful, yeah? I didn't spontaneously combust when I got here, but walking into the Great Hall on Friday night was as hard as I thought it would be. And it's going to take me some time to get used to sleeping in the dormitories again.
I'm trying to take it one day at a time. Catching up with friends has been a good way to distract myself from everything that's running around in my head. Which includes being nervous about start of classes and wondering how on earth I'm going to manage not being able to be near you when I need to be.
Anyway, please owl. I miss you loads already and it's only been two days.
