Neville thought he was probably the minority based on what he heard the others grumbling about, but he really liked having the long NEWT Prep classes and only one subject a day. It helped him because he could firmly cement what he learned before he had to try to remember what he learned in an unrelated subject. Anything that helped Neville remember was a good thing to him.
He had almost finished the Malfoy garden plan when he saw the time and grabbed his bag. He'd have to Apparate to the gate if he wanted to be on time for study group. Neville reminded himself that he needed to remember to talk to Goyle about Luna and the Autumn Ball on Saturday. He hoped Greg would be willing to listen to his idea. If not, at least he would have tried.
Neville put his bag down next to Greg Goyle. He wondered how much studying would be going on tonight and how many, like him, wanted a few words about the ball. "Evening, Greg. Would you mind if I talked to you for a few minutes about Saturday?"
