The morning had passed quickly. By the time she and Harry got home, Hermione had found the furniture for her new bedroom, had helped Harry find his, and they'd had an early lunch. Things between them felt better than they had in the morning, though there were still awkward moments that she was starting to think she might just be imagining.
After she cleaned her bedroom and reviewed her homework for Charms, it was nearly time for Neville. She changed into a heavy jumper that would be better for walking outside at Kew Gardens and made sure her socks were dry before she put on her boots. Now that she had chosen a bed and furniture, she knew she needed to figure out which color to paint the walls. She wanted to let Crispin know tomorrow, so they could do whatever they needed before it was time to paint.
She debated color choices as she walked downstairs. She figured it would be between a pale green, though not a pastel, or a pale brown. She could look at color swatches tonight and make a final decision. When she reached the kitchen, she got a glass of juice and sat down to wait for Neville.
