Still no word from Seamus. It wouldn't hurt so much that she hadn't heard from him since their confusing, complicated talk on Thursday if she didn't care about him so much. Except it was hard to show that she cared when she was sure that Seamus thought the only way she could do that was sex. There was more to her than that, but Seamus was having trouble seeing past his own cock.
Which she could understand. But this frustration about the situation wasn't helping either of them. He couldn't seem to work out what he wanted and the longer he kept her at arm's length, the more Lavender was starting to question everything the relationship. Seamus wanted an erection, but what did she want? She seemed to get more satisfaction from awkward pauses with Draco Malfoy than her own boyfriend and things really weren't meant to be like that.
One safe thing that could still give satisfaction these days was chocolate. It was Sunday afternoon and Lavender could only hope that Honeydukes' was still open as she walked from her house on South Vinewood to the high street. She needed something rich and dark and maybe just a little bit bitter. She could even get a few different types, she mused, wondering if they still did the bar with the caramel centre. She was getting hungry just thinking about it.
