RP: Tea and Stories

Summary: Neville meets with Andromeda for tea and tales about his parents.

He wasn't sure what to expect as he prepared to meet with Andromeda Tonks. Neville still couldn't quite think of her as Andy just yet. 'Andy' didn't fit such a formidable woman, any more than 'Gussie' fit his Gran. He hoped that as the evening progressed he'd become comfortable enough to address her as such without feeling awkward.
He dressed simply but neatly for the occasion. He'd wondered briefly whether or not he ought to wear his dress robes, but he never had in all the years he'd sat in during one of the teas his Gran had held for her friends and figured now wasn't the time to start. Simple but neat would have to do, he thought, smoothing out his dark blue robes and straightening the collar.
Just before six he dipped a hand into the container of Floo powder and tossed it in, calling out the address to Andy's home, spinning away a moment later in a rush of green flame. He emerged into a neatly kept house, managing to stay on his feet. Hurriedly, he brushed the worst of the soot from his clothing, running his fingers nervously through his hair and hoping desperately that he didn't make an arse of himself this evening.
