Minerva had another large stack of correspondence after today's rebuttals -- from herself on behalf of Hogwarts, Muriel Bemish on behalf of the Board of Governors, and Griselda Marchbanks on behalf of the Wizarding Examination Board -- to the editorial in yesterday's Daily Prophet. There were both letters of support and derision. She decided to write both Miss Granger and Miss Parkinson to see if either of them would be willing to work additional hours to see to the reply post.
For now, she bundled the mail and called Crisp to store the post away until she had someone in to deal with it. The headmistress was expecting one of her NEWT Prep students this morning for a meeting. The gargoyle knew to let Mr. Corner up when he arrived.
