Harry scanned the bit of parchment that had come inside the box with the cake, chuckling as he lifted his wand and charmed the candy quaffles and bludgers to fly around the three hoops made of cake -- two chocolate, one vanilla. Hermione had definitely followed his advice when she'd ordered this, and he hoped Ron liked it. He wanted Ron's birthday to be fantastic.
The rest of the food was set up as well, and things were ready. He and Hermione had gone home after work to get the decorations she'd bought and then come straight here to set up. Hopefully, there'd be enough food, and hopefully, enough guests to need this much. There was a lot of pizza and breadsticks, sandwiches, all different sorts of crisps and biscuits. Also, there were drinks of the softer variety if people preferred; pumpkin juice and butterbeer, not that they served that here. They'd had to bring that in. Hermione had put out some fruit and vegetable trays for balance, which, whatever. Couldn't hurt. Harry popped a bit of cauliflower and chased it with a barbecue crisp.
It was nearly eight, and the music was blasting in the main club area. People would start showing soon maybe, so he walked out of the back room and into the club. Hermione should be bringing Ron any second.
