Completion: Incomplete
Ginny lit a candle and stared at the flame. She knew she should be sleeping, but she just couldn't get her mind to rest. The counselors told her when this happened, she should write in her journal.
She picked up the journal, glanced at the first (and only) two entries. She didn't feel like writing down her feelings. She couldn't quit thinking of Neville. She wasn't obsessing, but she wondered how he was, where he was, how had he been without her weighing him down like a sickness...
Ginny picked up a quill and began to write.
Dear Neville,
Bet you're surprised to hear from me. I'm surprised I'm writing. How have you been? I've been thinking of you. I hope all is well. How are your plants? Bloody hell, I'm full of questions, aren't I?
Life at Hogwarts is fairly ordinary. A third year Ravenclaw turned his feet into steins. Some bloke nearly choked on asparagus in the Great Hall when the Bloody Baron startled him by floating through the table. The usual.
I've been flying. Not that you asked. The counselors are helpful here. I've been writing.
How's life outside of school?
Gin
She stared at the letter, and she was tempted to throw it in the rubbish bin, but instead, she folded it nicely and decided she would send it later.
