Summary: Ron sends thanks for his birthday gifts.
Completion: InComplete
If his mum knew it had taken him another 10 days after his birthday to send out thank yous, she would have sent him an howler, Ron was sure of that. Fortunately he'd already thanked her, Ginny and Bill for the gifts they'd sent him, and he'd thanked Harry and Hermione in person. Now he needed to send thanks for gifts he'd received at his birthday party.
Oi, Wood,
Bloody hell, you should have seen my face when I opened the envelope and found those World Cup tickets. I must have turned paler than Nearly Headless Nick. That's about the most wicked birthday gift I ever got. Thank you so much. Well, that sounds stupid but I really can't thank you enough.
~ Ron
Hey Eloise,
Thanks for the birthday coupons. I'll take some of your biscuits any time. Or anything else you'll let me redeem them for. We should get together soon.
Cheers,
Ron
Dear Parvati,
Thank you for the Circe voucher you gave me for my birthday. I really appreciate it. I'm glad we got to talk and dance at the party. Hope we can be friends again.
Take care,
Ron
Pansy,
Those biscuits you gave me for my birthday were really delicious. Where can I get more? Also, don't break Neville's heart. He's been one of my mates for seven years and I would not be happy about it even though I think Neville dating you is less weird than him dating my sister.
Cheers,
Ron
Oi, Nev,
Those tickets to the Cannons' game were brilliant! Too bad they lost again. Can't wait for the end of the season so I can use the other tickets for the final game.
Ron
Dear Lav,
That little cake you brought for my birthday was really delicious. And the socks! Merlin's pants, I've got a set for every day of the week now. Thanks so much. It was fun dancing with you at the party.
Take care,
Ron
Dean,
Thanks for the wrist holster, mate. That's going to be dead handy for keeping track of my wand during Auror training. You know, if I make it in. Cross your fingers and so on, yeah? Thanks again.
Ron
Dear Lisa,
That charm you gave me for my birthday, for my wizard's chess set, is really wicked. I used it a few days ago and you should have seen my knights charging round the board. Even the rooks were acting fierce. That's great stuff. Thanks so much.
Ron
Draco Malfoy,
Thank you for the dragonhide utility belt. I was really surprised that you gave me something for my birthday. Hermione must have had something to do with that. Harry really likes the one you gave him, so I reckon it's probably safe for me to use this when we're in Auror training. Assuming I get in.
Ron Weasley
Dear Verity,
Thanks for the Cannons shirt. I like how the broom flies around the neck of the shirt. It's weird but funny.
Ron
Forge,
That Shield Cloak you gave me for my birthday is amazing. Really, bloody brilliant. Wish I'd had one last year. Just wait till I'm an Auror. The bad guys won't know if I'm coming or going.
You're a great brother. I miss Fred too.
Love,
Ron
