Neville hoped Pansy didn't find his idea of a celebration completely mad but the weather had been dry and not all together unpleasant for the past week. Since it wouldn't be too muddy or uncomfortable outside with warming charms and a fire, Neville thought they might enjoy some time to themselves to celebrate.
He'd set up the little campfire while he'd been out working on the property on the outskirts of Hogsmeade this afternoon. Neville had uncovered the small pit while doing maintenance two weeks ago. He was looking forward to putting it to use. He'd done a little marketing for supplies and after returning home, he'd showered, changed and sent Poindexter over to Pansy to caution her to dress warmly for outside. He doubted she'd have any idea what he was up to and that was part of the fun. Pansy was a joy to surprise.
At the agreed upon time, he left with his broom and knocked on her door.
