RP: Let's Get Physical

Summary: Neville brings Ginny to the Hogwarts greenhouses to help with replanting. Things don't go as planned.

It was a perfect day for replanting, sunny with only a little cloud cover and the promise of warmth as the day went on. At least, it would be as soon as Neville managed to get out of bed.
A muscle cramp in his side had rudely awakened Neville just before dawn. He'd had just enough time to bite his pillow to stifle any sounds he might make while riding it out. He'd waited until the pain ebbed enough for him to go back to sleep, and now he simply felt tired and sore. Any other day, he might have indulged in an extra hour's lie-in, but he'd already promised to meet Ginny this morning, so that was out of the question.
He really ought to go see Madam Pomfrey about the cramping, Neville thought as he forced himself out of bed and got dressed. The worst of the injured were either in St Mungo's or had been released. She had time to see to less urgent problems such as his.
Maybe tomorrow.
This early, there was no one awake to see his scars as he quickly pulled on a T-shirt and a pair of jeans. He usually waited until late at night before showering in the privacy of the Quidditch changing rooms, a secret few people had considered while waiting their turn for the dorm showers. It was a secret he wasn't quite willing to share with anyone just yet. Let them discover it on their own.
After lacing up his trainers, Neville stopped by the Great Hall long enough for a quick breakfast of tea, toast and eggs before walking outside the castle, beyond the gates and Apparating to Diagon Alley.
Weasley's Wizard Wheezes looked as though it would be opening up for business again soon, which cheered Neville. The world could use a bit of humor again, he thought. He doubted he'd be allowed to simply walk in, so he waited outside, peering into the shop window and waiting for Ginny to arrive.
