Completion: Incomplete

It wasn't really a good day for planting. London was warm and dry, but Hogsmeade was wet and gray. The ground was muddy after a few days of showers, which definitely meant the planting would be messier than usual. Still, Hermione and Harry had decided to go volunteer because the park seemed to be an important memorial for those lost in the war and a symbol that life went on.

Fortunately, the Memorial Committee seemed to have anticipated the weather, since there were various awnings and tents set up throughout the grounds. She overheard a woman calling for snow in the next few days, which made her do a double-take, since the weather, although wet, had been rather warm lately. She glanced at Harry and shrugged a shoulder before they made their way to one of the tents.

They had taken their walk earlier and had breakfast out before getting ready for their volunteer work. She was glad that she'd worn an old shirt and denims since she didn't mind getting them muddy. They'd left a note for Ron telling him where they were, in case he wanted to join them later, and then come to Hogsmeade. It looked like a decent amount of volunteers, though she could see why there had been a request for more on the wireless. The park looked to be a good size with all sorts of things that would be interesting to see once the weather was nice and everything was organized.

"Do you think the flowers we're planting will be okay if it does snow tomorrow?" she asked Harry quietly as they found a place to kneel down and get to work.
