When he heard the doorbell, Harry paused on his way up the stairs. He'd only just come in himself, after venturing into Diagon Alley for what was really the first time since he and Ron and Hermione had been on their way to Gringott's. It was slowly coming back, and he thought that if he were going to take on some sort of part time work, he might choose there simply because it was closer to home.
He'd come back into Muggle London and located a phone so that he could call and try to see how he could get tickets to Australia. Hermione hadn't yet decided when, or even if, she was going -- and didn't really want him to pay for it -- but he'd never purchased airline tickets before, and it had been good to get an idea, just in case.
Hermione had said that Bill owled yesterday about stopping by, and Harry jogged back down the stairs to answer the door. Kreacher, of course, made it there first, but Harry was on the ground floor by the time it opened.
