Lisa stretched out her legs and flexed her toes, setting her book on the table beside the couch. She'd read maybe fifty pages since she got home from work, but she was still feeling restless, so even the purely escapist fluff her mum had loaned her wasn't keeping her attention. She'd thought about running down the street to see if Cho or Angelina was home, but they already had plans for Cho's birthday the next day, so she didn't want to wear out her welcome.
A run sounded good by itself, but she was trying to hold herself back a bit. She'd not been eating as much as usual the last couple of weeks, and what she had been eating had been lighter, healthier than the pub fare she'd had over the previous months. With the extra runs she'd thrown in to...help, her clothes were feeling a bit loose. Best not to overdo it.
On that thought, she realised she hadn't eaten yet and dragged herself off the couch and into the kitchen to throw together some sort of dinner. Maybe a bit of pasta. That was easy and filling.
