Neville had been happy to find it had been warm and sunny in Scotland today because it had been rainy working in Kent that afternoon. His plans for the evening involved an outdoor evening of traditional Scottish songs and storytelling at Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh. 'Tales in the Gloaming' had been recommended to him by Master Gurdin as an unusual but interesting date and the man hadn't steered him wrong. Neville had really enjoyed the show.
"I wasn't sure if this would finish on time so I made dinner reservations at eight-thirty. Would you like to wander around Edinburgh until then?" he asked, giving her hand a gentle squeeze. He'd have liked to wander around the garden but it was closed after the concert.
