That sounded like an amazing array of songs. Janis is the one woman I always found mysterious and yet down to earth. She spoke truthfully and sang with her soul.

What an apt way to describe her: "Mysterious, yet down to earth". I saw a documentary about her once; in it, she was asked "What is your ultimate goal?". Her reply was, "To be genuine". Anyone who says that has my respect.
