Ah. I had to rush over here to see if there were more to read, and it was, so I am totally happy:-)) The duel was magnificient, very well written (but where is Crookshanks? If they killed him, I want their balls roasted on an open fire, Rabastans included, and them alive to watch their "prides" burn into crisp little bits which then turns to dust, and then she can kill them ( ... )

Well, you're certainly a smart one, aren't you? For future reference, I do post stuff here first before it makes it to GrangerEnchanted, and my most complete list of HP fic is on here, which I have a fancy link to. In case you're interested.

Also, you figured out so soon why she was kidnapped! You're clearly much brighter than our Hermione here, but I think that as the reader you probably know a few more things than she does.

As I said in my response to your review, all shall be revealed in the fourth chapter. Then, things will really start to pick up.

As for a happy ending...just the phrase makes me cringe. I have an ending in mind, and while it is by no means depressing, I don't know if you can call it "happy". We'll have to see.

Well, I hope after going through all of that trouble he does not plan on killing her any time soon. So, I take it he decided he wanted her and just went and took her? Yeah, her friends are not going to like that.

Of course Rabastan wouldn't go through all that trouble just to kill her; where would the fun in that be?
And no, no one is going to be happy to find out why he took her, but it sounds like you already know! (not that it was hard to guess, lol)

I have no idea why my first comment didn't post, but I'll just write it off to LJ being screwy again.

I'm so pleased to have found this fic! What a wonderful premise you've woven into this tale, and the fact that you've included so many tasty details just makes it that much better.

The duel was every bit as vicious as I imagine a fight between those two would be - and that everyone present refused to tell her what it was about was in keeping with their characters.

Rabastan's line in this latest installment was so utterly wicked (in a good way, mind you); that she would enjoy it more if she didn't fight him, and he would enjoy it more if she did. It's so how I picture him.

Very nicely done. Looking forward to more of this!

LJ is pretty screwy, even on its normal days. I wish I could've read that first comment *sniffles*.

I'm so glad you found my fic too!! I LOVE reading comments from you. I won't be able to stop grinning for the rest of the day!

I'm happy to hear you're enjoying the story so far. I always wanted to do a Marriage Law fic, but I was worried about using every cliche known to fandom, so I decided to go with something that happens in real life, all the time.

Also good to know that their duel was a good one; I'm very bad at writing action scenes. And Rabastan's line...well, he is a very wicked man, now isn't he?

I don't know how I'd handle a Rabastan but as an outsider reading in, this is super exciting! I know, I'm leaving reviews out of sync but I had to comment on the last one because it had such a nice twist! In this one, I really enjoyed hearing Ron/Harry concerned about Hermione and hoping for her well-being. Wish Rowling could have proved that just a tad bit more especially in the 4th book, lol.

That last part is just *squee* worthy. The fight, the punch, and the kiss. Woman, I needs more. Your chapters be too short! LOL okay, they aren't, I'm just a greedy reader.

Oh, don't lie. I know my chapters are totally short. When I wrote in anime fandoms, I used to write 3000 word chapters. Then I got hit with huge block, then three years later I started writing HP. So, while I'm recovering, my chapters remain dreadfully short.

I can't wait for you to read the upcoming twists I'm thinking of. I think you'd quite like them. And I can never figure out why people neglect the Ron/Harry side of things whenever something bad happens to Hermione. Its not like they don't exist. Glad you're loving the tension and everything so far. Off to your last comment!
