My cat Frank does the same thing (-) the snow. He is quite the people kitty, but loves playing outside. He will beg and beg to go outside and as soon as he does he'll look back inside with this, "I thought you were coming out too look" and immediately paws on the door till you let him in. He wants to see the excitement outside, but can't stand being alone.

Giacomo has to re-figure out snow every time. He simply doesn't remember that he loves snow and the drifts are fun to jump in.
