Chris finally got his mission assignment! He's going to be in Portugal Lisbon for two years of his life. it's exciting, and yet I'm already sad. He'll be leaving for his mission in April.
That's pretty awesome, Becky. Is he studying Portuguese in preparation? Him and I should meet up sometime in 2008-2009 while I'm in Paris. What's new with you?
Chris won't really be studying before he goes. What they do for missionaries is they have language courses for (I think) six weeks, and then they send them to the country. I know it sounds crazy but for most of those foreign speaking missions, the missionaries come back fluent in the language. As for meeting up with him, I think you'd have to visit him. I'm great, just projects and finals. How about you?
