So I've been thinking about this whole Amazon thing and have come to a couple conclusions

seperis deals with large databases on a daily basis and had (to my non-technical eye) similar conclusions.

I'm willing to give Amazon the benefit of the doubt on this one, because they have a decade-long track record of doing right by me. So long as they fix it and make sufficient apologies (you are so right about the horrible PR aspect), I'll keep buying from them. If they can't get their act together, I'll reconsider.
