So. I did it again. I wrote another play, called
OnceOnlyEver
A synopsis of my play: "When the cast and crew of Corton High School’s final play of the year get snowed in without any adults, the kids put together the “OnceOnlyEver Midnight Show” and find out, on-stage and off-, that they all have something absurd, brilliant, stupid, and meaningful to say and learn about growing up and living life."
The two other plays: (1) a Fairy Tale meets Eastern European History and (2) a parody of Greek theater

Lena: (Female, Senior)
Assistant director of the Corton High School Drama Department. Dependable and responsible to a fault. Not a boring, geeky person, but can be boxed in as that by her peers. Smart and sexy, just subtle about it. Kind but can be emotionally removed at times. Opens up as play goes on.
Linden: (Preferably Male, but can be Female, any grade)
Lena’s go-to guy. Her assistant/student stage manager. Kind and a little silly. Highly intelligent and responsible, but also a bit of an intellectual in disguise. He’s the loving glue that holds the whole family together. In essence pretty dorky, but no one really notices because everyone loves him. (If changed to female, renamed Olga)
William: (Male, Senior)
Happy-go-lucky high school actor. Regular to the drama scene and really friends with everyone. Closeted gay. Must play an instrument proficiently (preferably guitar) or sing well. Both, if possible. Extremely earnest and kind, perhaps a bit too emotionally open. Loves and protects his younger sister, Mimi.
Mark: (Male, Senior)
The Senior Prom King stereotypical jock, but really a great guy. After four years of losing touch with the friends he had in elementary and middle school, William (his former best friend) comes back into his life, and suggests that Mark should try-out for the final play in which he gets a major role and finds the rules of life he learned outside the theater flipped upside-down.
Mimi: (Female, any grade, but younger)
Extremely quiet and quirky. A chronically shy crewbie. Preferably a smaller female. She has to seen both fragile and unbreakable. Curiously unique and timeless. When her inner poet bursts out, she has to be able to command the stage completely. William’s younger sister.
Coryn: (Female, Junior or Senior)
Female lead in Corton High’s play. Smart and interesting, but melodramatic and her personality can be a bit overwhelming. An atypical diva. Likes to be extremely off-putting in attire and speech, both to avoid fitting in, but also so that she can psychoanalyze people’s responses to her. She has a particularly meaningful relationship with Linden, like a brother to her. She's not mean as much as blunt and cynical.
