Nasty bugs are going around earlier this year than usual according to my doctor. I had pleurisy and pneumonia (double whammy) last month and have never had either before. Needless to say I got a flu and pneumonia shot.

Hope you continue to feel better. And hope Stan gets his thingy straightened out and feels better too. *hugs to you both*

Oh wow. I've never had pleurisy, but I've had pneumonia and while I was a smoker, I had bronchitis every year. It doesn't feel good at all.
I sure hope you're feeling better by now.

One way or the other, Stan WILL NOT PUT off the radiation if the doctor says now. I don't care if we have to empty our savings account out. He's too important to too many people.

Fortunately I had a relatively mild case of both, thanks. The antibiotic was so strong it actually made me feel more miserable than the ailment it was curing.

I don't you one bit about the radiation. That's nothing to mess around with.

I usually get one every year, but this year I've forgotten completely about my flu shot.
Too many medical things going on, I guess.
Thanks Donna.
Say hi to that handsome husband of yours.

I hope the best of possibilities comes for Stan.

Yeah, there is a nasty big going around here, too. Tow people I know lost pay they could ill afford over it. I'm glad you didn't get dehydrated in the end.

I'm well. Just got over a bout of diverticulitis and now have some muscles from digging a garden bed :(

Take care of yourselves!! We got our flu shots a week or so ago, but who knows if that will keep it at bay. I hope so!

Is Stan old enough for SS? I started collecting at 62 so got the smaller payment, but better than nothing.

There seems to be some sort of emergency type SS thingy for medical emergencies?
We've heard all sorts of things and I'm not sure what's going on.

I feel much better tonight and have actually had a little food. WHEEEEEE!

It's kind of a vicious circle when you need liquids and they won't stay down.
