I met The Rothfuss!

Last night, my friend from down (not across) the hall, Roommate, and I made our way north to Austin to go to a book signing and discussion with Patrick Rothfuss, whose newest book, The Wise Man's Fear I gushed over about a month ago.

Yep, at the B&N in the Arboretum, or something.

I totally recommend the book, if you just so happen to trip over a copy. Probably my favorite ever. The Name of the Wind is the first one.

It really was fairly awesome. :D If Pat ever shows up in your area, hearing him speak is totally worth half a tank of gas, a few toll fees, and getting lost for two hours. Though that last bit might just be me...
