I've wanted to write steampunk for years, but never actually know how to once I sit down and start thinking. Maybe I will, some day.
But yay! I've never seen of or heard of pirate steampunk before, both of which I troll like a big, nasty, hairy troll. (I'm not very hairy, though. D=)
I would definitely troll you for this story. Let me know if you do decide to write it. =o
I'm glad you think it's interesting-- in all honesty, I can't bring myself to write something if people don't show at least a modicum of interest in it. So, yeah, Happy Rachel.
Haha, I know what you mean! I'm developing my "world" for this story in my head, and it keeps drifting away from "traditional" steampunk ideals, but, you know, what the hell. I'm all for blurring genre boundries.
Anyway, I do believe this will be my next big project, so do keep an eye out! And again, thanks for showing an interest. :D
P.s. I lol'd at the "big hairy troll" line. In the car. With a friend. I then had to read it out loud to her so she'd stop giving me a look.
I have nothing like that. If I'm interested in it, I'll write it. Of course, it's really nice to know that there are people who are interested and follow along with what I write, but most of the time, what I write doesn't get put up anywhere, so I don't really see the need to cater to people's desires or interests. In a way, it's a very bad and very good thing.

I'm jealous of people who can write just for their own satisfaction. I'm an entertainer at heart; I need an audience or I feel worthless. :P It's a definite weakness on my part.
